Here are some options for writing your conclusion. Do not attempt to incorporate all of these suggestions into one conclusion.

  1. Provide a retrospective view by summarizing the major points of the essay and explaining their significance.
  2. Elaborate upon the thesis and suggest further directions for research.
  3. State the implications of the study.
