Tara Smith

Biography: Tara is a first year MSc student in the Department of Community Health Sciences, specializing in population/public health. Under the supervision of Dr. Penny Hawe, Tara’s thesis project will explore structural factors impeding nutritional health promotion in schools. Tara has a BA in Sociology.

Research Interests: Childhood development, food policy, social determinants of health, community development, global health.
