Steven Persaud

Biography: Steven recently graduated from the University of Calgary's Bachelor of Health Science program, with a concentration in Anthropology. His honours thesis, supervised by Dr Lynn McIntyre, dealt with the food provisioning experience of homeless men in Calgary. Currently, Steven is assisting Drs Rock and McIntyre with an assessment of the impact of the media release strategy for Discomforting Comfort Foods: Stirring the Pot on Kraft Dinner and Social Inequality in Canada.

Research Interests: Homelessness, food insecurity, health promotion, health outcomes of SES.
