Daniel Dutton

Biography: Daniel is a PhD student at the University of Calgary’s department of Community Health Sciences in the Population and Public Health specialization. Daniel holds a Master’s degree in Economics. He is currently supervised by Dr. Lindsay McLaren for his thesis work on public policy and obesity in Canada.

Research Interests: Economic theory applied to health topics, such as obesity and the social determinants of health; public policy’s ability to affect health; homeless populations.
