Tish Doyle-Baker

Biography: Dr. Doyle-Baker joined the University of Calgary in 1988 and she is an associate professor in Faculty of Kinesiology with an adjunct associate professorship in Faculty of Environmental Design. She completed her undergraduate and masters degrees in Human Performance/Biochemistry and Exercise Physiology respectively, from University of Victoria, BC.  Dr. Doyle-Baker concluded her training at Loma Linda University and Medical Centre with a Doctor of Public Health.  As a clinical exercise physiologist she combines the fields of preventative medicine, epidemiology, and exercise physiology in her research.

Research Interests: Biomarkers of pediatric obesity, chronic disease and exercise intervention, osteoarthritis and female athletes, optimal defaults for energy expenditure in urban design.

Dr. Doyle-Baker's current appointments include teaching two courses in the Faculty of Kinesiology.
