Aaron Bartoo

Biography: Aaron Bartoo joined the Population Health Intervention Research Center in 2010 as a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Science Communication. Aaron has received two Bachelor of Science degrees in Biochemistry and Microbiology and completed a PhD in Neuroscience from Washington State University. He has a strong background in gastroenterology and has experience in biomedical and clinical research from previous research at the University of Vermont and Boston University. Currently, Aaron works for Dr. Lynn McIntyre helping with projects focused on hunger and food insecurity.

Research Interests:

Health, nutrition, poverty, working poor, public policy, and knowledge translation/communication.
