• Examine the many groups or categories that standout as needing attention to have their rights acknowledged: human rights, dying rights, gay rights, offender rights, victim rights, patient rights, women rights.
  
  
• Investigate the issues of offender rights in our society to-day.
  
  

• Explore statutes and criminal code provisions that pertain to the rights of the offender.

• Examine personal beliefs about the issue of offender rights.
