THROMBOPHILIA

Dr. Man-Chiu Poon is currently Director of the Southern Alberta Rare
 Blood and Bleeding Disorders Comprehensive Care Program and is a
consultant to the Calgary Laboratory  Service for interpretation of
thrombophilia and other special coagulation study reports. He is a member of the Division of Hematology  and Hematologic Malignancies and a professor in the Departments of Medicine, Pediatrics and Oncology with an interest in hemostasis and thrombosis.

Dr. Shannon Jackson is a clinical scholar in hemostasis and a
hematologist with the Division of Hematology, Department of Medicine, University of Calgary.

Nicole Schneider-MacRae is a PGY3 Internal Medicine resident at the University of Calgary with an interest in thrombosis and hemostasis.

Jocelyn Lockyer PhD is Associate Dean, Continuing Medical Education and Professional Development and Professor, Department of Community Health Sciences, University of
Calgary.

Karen Valentine is a clinical associate professor for the Department of Medicine at the University of Calgary.  Her interests include thrombosis and malignant hematology.
