10:30–11:15 a.m.

How do you make a successful transition from student to working professional?  This workshop will give you some practical steps to help you in your career journey. You'll have the opportunity to learn how to navigate challenges and embrace the unexpected as you design your next career moves.

11:15 a.m.–12 p.m.

12:30–1:30 p.m.

Some careers are a straight line; some are a zig-zag. New jobs may exist in the future that we never anticipated. A degree or major does not limit your career options to a specific sector or type of job. Hear from panellists who debunk entrenched career myths and be inspired by possibilities for your own career path.

No matter what path you end up on, you can find ways to apply the knowledge, skills and abilities from your degree toward new and exciting career pathways. This panel will introduce you to professionals who have made pivots in their own careers, utilized the skills they learned in a degree and gained more skillsets—they'll share their lessons and advice for how to navigate the shift.

1:45–2:45 p.m.

Not sure about the next steps in your career? Learn how life design can help you to envision possible career futures and generate actionable solutions to your concerns. Get ready to brainstorm in this interactive workshop and choose one idea to implement!
