Student Accessibility Services and campus partners are hosting a number of events for those new to UCalgary this fall 2025. Find out more about SAS services, join us for NICE days and learn more about other support services designed to support your success.
Join SAS staff for an introduction to Student Accessibility Services. This 30 min. online session will provide an overview of SAS, who we serve, pathways to register (intake vs. information appointments), as well as an overview of FAST team, and NSO.
The University of Calgary is excited to offer Neurodiversity Immersive Campus Experience (NICE) days, free for first-year undergraduate neurodivergent students at UCalgary! This program aims to connect neurodivergent students with one another and key university resources. Our goal is to provide you with a supportive environment and access to helpful campus resources to help you transition successfully to university learning.
NICE Days is being offered on two separate dates, you have the option of choosing which day is best for you.
- Option 1: Monday, August 25
- Option 2: Tuesday, August 26

Join Student Success Centre staff to learn more about the academic strategist services available and how they can help you enhance your study skills to align with your first-year courses.
Unlocking Opportunities is an informative session designed to help you navigate the Student Loans and Student Disability Grants process with confidence.
This session provides an overview of student aid loans and grant opportunities available to students with disabilities, including key deadlines, eligibility criteria, and required documentation. You’ll also gain a clear understanding of the roles and responsibilities of both students and staff throughout the process.
By attending, you’ll be better prepared to apply for student loans and to meet with the SAS Funding, Assistive Services and Technology team, as many common questions will be addressed.
Most importantly, you’ll leave with a clear sense of the next steps to take in accessing the financial and technology support you need.
