Neurodiversity Celebration Week 2026

March 16 - 20

Neurodiversity Celebration Week at UCalgary is an opportunity to recognize and value the many ways people think, learn, and experience the world. This global initiative challenges stereotypes and misconceptions about neurological differences by highlighting the strengths, talents, and perspectives of neurodivergent individuals. By advancing inclusion, we strengthen the well-being of our entire community—especially those who are neurodivergent. Our goal is to help people understand, value, and celebrate the unique contributions of neurodiverse minds while creating cultures where everyone can thrive.

Neurodiversity Celebration Week aims to:

Recognize talents and skills of neurodivergent people

Provide physical spaces on campus to celebrate neurodiversity

Increase acceptance and understanding around neurodiversity

Remove stigma and barriers for accessing supports and resources for neurodivergent people on campus
