Matthias Scheid-Wiltshire headshot

Matthias Scheid-Wiltshire is a MSc. Student co-supervised by Dr. Carolyn Emery and Dr. Kathryn Schneider in the Sport Injury Prevention Research Center. In 2022 he completed his BSc. in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo. During his time as an undergraduate student, he worked in various fields as part of the co-op program including placements specializing in  biomechanics, ergonomics, pedorthics and sport engagement programming in the Cree nation. His current research focuses on the use of wearable technology in instrumented mouthguards (iMGs) to study the association between neck strength and head acceleration events in youth sport.
