Ember Larson
MSc Student
Ember is a master's student co-supervised by Dr. Jonathan Smirl and Dr. Carolyn Emery. She completed her Bachelor of Science at the University of Michigan in Movement Science within the School of Kinesiology. For her thesis project, she is investigating potential cognitive deficits from exposure to quantified head acceleration exposures and concussions in female adolescent rugby players, using both EEG measures and Instrumented mouthguards. In her free time, Ember enjoys hiking, coaches youth rugby and plays rugby for the UCalgary Dinos!
