Pegah

Pegah Noorshargh

Pegah is a first-year MSc student in Biostatistics. Her graduate research focuses on developing novel machine-learning algorithms to examine heterogeneity in how patients with heart disease respond to and interpret questions about their health status and quality of life. This work is part of a Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR)-funded program, which she is contributing to through the Person-Centered Methods & Analytics Research Group at the University of Calgary. By identifying variations in self-reported health status and quality of life, her research aims to enhance the delivery of personalized cardiovascular care for individuals living with heart disease in Canada.

She holds a B.Sc. in Statistics from Yazd University, Iran, and an M.Sc. in Biostatistics from Shiraz University of Medical Sciences, Iran, where she graduated in the top 5% of my class with a GPA of 18.52/20. With over seven years of research experience at leading institutions, including the Ophthalmology Research Group and Chain Research Institute at Isfahan University of Medical Sciences, she has contributed to numerous studies and publications.
