Nominations open for Internationalization Achievement Awards

Do you know a champion in internationalization?
If so, nominations are now open for the University of Calgary Internationalization Achievement Awards (UCIAA). These awards recognize students, faculty, staff, community members and programs that work relentlessly towards the goals of our International Strategy:
- Increase diversity of our campus communities
- Improve global and cross-cultural competencies
- Enhance opportunities for international collaboration and partnerships in research and education
- Leverage our unique areas of expertise to engage in international development.
Six award categories are available to recognize these everyday heroes and the impact they’ve made toward internationalizing UCalgary:
- International Program Award (one award)
- Community Member Award (one award)
- Academic Staff Awards (two awards)
- Staff Awards (two awards)
- Student Awards (four awards)
- Career Achievement Award (two awards)
How to submit your nomination
For more details and nomination forms, visit the University of Calgary International website. Nomination are due by midnight on Oct. 31, 2018.
Awards will be presented at the University of Calgary Internationalization Achievement Awards celebration event on April 4, 2019.
