Daniel Wei

Daniel Wei was a son, a brother, a soldier, a lover of the outdoors, and a friend to many individuals he knew.

Daniel was born on May 23, 2003 in Taiwan, and he immigrated to Canada with his family when he was seven years old.

Growing up, Daniel has always been adventurous and loved the outdoors, whether it was hiking up mountains or skiing down the slopes, he loved to challenge himself. His family members would describe Daniel as determined, persistent, and dedicated, which can be seen across both his personal life and his professional pursuits.

Daniel has always excelled academically and had a love for learning. He was studying kinesiology at the University of Calgary, where he found his passion towards his field of exercise and health physiology.

He was also an active member of the reserves for the Canadian Armed Forces. In summer 2024, Daniel achieved his medic certification from the Forces.

He was also actively involved with the search and rescue teams of Calgary, where he enjoyed using his skills to serve the community.
