Mailman list service upgrade scheduled

There is a scheduled upgrade to the Mailman list service on July 25, 6 p.m. to July 26, 7 a.m. During this outage, all UCalgary Mailman distribution lists and owner/moderator interfaces will be unavailable. Any emails sent to Mailman lists during this time will be lost and will need to be resent once services resume. Note: This outage will not affect regular email service.

A more secure version of Mailman list service will be available starting July 26, 2019. The only noticeable change is the Mailman administrative interface website location will change from http: to https: providing enhanced security. All other features, functionality and the user interface will remain the same.

As the Mailman administrative user interface location (or URL) will change, update any web browser links or bookmarks to the new location: change http: to https: The rest of the URL (e.g., mailman.ucalgary.ca/mailman/listinfo/list name) will remain the same. Note: Automatic URL redirects will be set up for all mailman lists.
