Join four international experts at the PETRONAS International Energy Speaker Series

Annual event goes online on January 28 to discuss Canada’s journey to become net-zero by 2050

This year’s online event presents a unique opportunity to gather a group of international experts together including Maria van der Hoeven, former director of the International Energy Agency (IEA), Tengu Muhammad Taufik, president and group CEO of PETRONAS Global, The Honourable Seamus O’Regan, Canada’s Minister of Natural Resources and moderator Jackie Forrest, executive director, ARC Energy Research Institute. Together, they will discuss Canada’s journey to become net-zero by 2050.

Access to capital and the constraints this puts on future growth will be one of the top areas of discussion. Speakers will also provide views on the future demand of energy sources beyond conventional oil – namely liquefied natural gas (LNG), and both blue and green hydrogen.
