Hosted by the University of Calgary Senate, Lecture of a Lifetime showcases the talent and achievements of leading academics and celebrates outstanding service to the university, its students and the greater community.
This year’s lecturer was Dr. Glenda MacQueen, MD, PhD, a psychiatrist and researcher focused on mood disorders. This year’s event was held on May 2, 2019, and had almost 600 guests in attendance.
MacQueen is the vice-dean in the Cumming School of Medicine and a member of the Hotchkiss Brain Institute and the Mathison Centre for Mental Health Research and Education.
