Congratulations Dr. David Archer, Professor Emeritus Status

We are pleased to announce the well-deserved recognition of Dr. David Archer. He has received Professor Emeritus status at the University of Calgary. Emeritus status honors his considerable service to the University of Calgary through his teaching, research and engagement. 

He has been the recipient of numerous awards, 75 publications, several important roles throughout his career including Program Director for the Anesthesia Residency Program and Director for the Anesthesia Research Laboratory, Cumming School of Medicine. Over his career he has also contributed as an accreditor for the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons and contributed internationally as a clinician and professor.

Dr. Archer has been an outstanding contributor to the Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative and Pain Medicine, Cumming School of Medicine with an outstanding clinical practice for 30 years and we wish him well in his retirement.
