Alpha 3 Release Notes

The third alpha release of the UCalgary Design System (UCDS) is now live and introduces a new set of components focused on navigation, interaction, and flexible layout support. These additions continue to enhance consistency, accessibility, and ease of use across UCalgary’s digital properties.

Release items from Alpha 3

The following components were completed in this release:

  • Icon button
  • Accordion
  • Global header and footer
  • Link

This release prioritizes accessibility, performance, and consistency. Documentation is available in the UCalgary Design System - designers can access assets in Figma, and developers can explore implementation details in Storybook.
