University ready for zombie apocalypse

Zombie fitness boot camp helps campus prepare for the undead.

Oct. 30, 2012

Most experts agree the zombie apocalypse is inevitable. Since physical fitness will be critical to survival, the University of Calgary’s Active Living program is helping everyone prepare with a special Halloween “zombie-fit” boot camp.

The lunchtime workout will feature a series of exercises designed by our Active Living personal trainers guaranteed to boost your chances of escape from a pursuing zombie horde and to maximize your zombie-killing capabilities.

The price for this life-saving class is a $2 donation to the United Way. Participants are invited to come in costume and get in the Halloween spirit!
