More than 40 deans of business schools across Canada, together with representatives from key professional organizations, will meet in Calgary Oct 24 & 25 to discuss the future of business education in this country. Themed ‘Transforming Education’ and hosted by the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary, the conference will address how business schools can best meet the evolving needs of our communities and industry. In Canada, business programs constitute close to 20% of total university enrolment.

Two sessions are open to interested media:

b) Role of business schools in building economy & community, with panelists John Forzani (The Forzani Group), Bruce Graham (Calgary Economic Development), Eva Friesen (The Calgary Foundation), Ann Lewis-Luppino (Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra), and Mike Tims (Peters & Co) addressing questions that include: What role does a business school play in supporting industry trends?
