Hello Goodbye for writers-in-residence

The University of Calgary’s Distinguished Writer’s Program will welcome new Canadian writer-in- residence Deborah Willis at its annual Hello Goodbye event on Thursday, September 13.

Willis is a Governor General’s Award-nominated author and native Calgarian, who wrote the celebrated 2009 collection Vanishing and Other Stories. Recently named as the 2012-2013 Canadian writer-in-residence, she will participate in a joint reading with departing Writer-in- Residence Jeramy Dodds at the popular annual event.

What: Hello Goodbye – hosted by the University of Calgary’s Distinguished Writer’s Program

When: Thursday, September 13 at 7:30 p.m.

Where: Arrata Opera Centre (1315 7th Street S.W.)
