the pedestrain and vehicle roadway of 9th street N.E. It also acts
as a connection between the the southern commercial node near the LRT Station
and the 1st Ave. Strip. |

The use of "U" shaped benches, vegetation, and periodic extensions of the
sidewalk into the street as a traffic calming measure and place for locals
to linger.

This is an example of the proposed Single Family homes that could
be incorporated into the existing residential area of Bridgeland-Riveside.
A two storey building type would increase the number of homes that could
be developed in an area, and yet decrease the overall footprint and impact
upon the land. |
