Goals and Objectives
In researching the community it has become clear that the
community and the city have some conflicting goals for the area. Where the
community wishes to maintain the character and way of life of the area, the
city sees the redevelopment of the area as potential for meeting citywide
goals (such as providing housing close to the CBD and addressing the
transportation GO-Plan ). As a result of public meetings, the design process,
guided site tours, and background research of the community history, salient
theories, and contemporary examples a set of comprehensive goals emerge. |
