3M National Student Fellowship
The 3M National Student Fellowship honours up to ten full-time diploma and undergraduate students at Canadian post-secondary institutions who have demonstrated outstanding leadership in their lives and at their institution.
What awardees receive
Awardees will be invited to the annual conference of the Society for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (STLHE) in June, where they will participate in a 3M National Student Fellowship Program retreat and lead the closing plenary. They will receive a contribution towards their cost of travel, accommodation during the conference, and conference registration.
Each recipient will also receive an award of $5,000 to be spent at their discretion.

As part of the requirements, applicants must include a statement from the Vice-Provost (Student Experience). After completing the nomination package, they should email it as a single PDF file, following the file naming protocol outlined by 3M, to the Office of the Vice Provost (Student Experience) at firstname.lastname@example.org. The deadline is 4 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 24, 2020.
Packages submitted by this deadline will be returned to the applicants by Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2020 so they can submit their entire packages as directed on the STLHE website on or before the deadline of Friday, Jan. 31, 2020.
