Mobilizing Alberta

Given the global efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in half by 2030 and to ground climate solutions in equity and justice, there is a momentous opportunity to build a healthy, just and climate-safe future.

Mobilizing Alberta was a five-year initiative at UCalgary that formally concluded in May 2026. It was led by the Office of Institutional Commitments and supported by a $1.6 million grant from the Government of Canada through the Environmental Damages Fund.
