Educations Resources and Learning Modules

UCalgary offers a number of resources on campus from self-guided learning modules to mental health resource guide. Explore the learning modules and guides.

The HEAL Allyship Initiative aims to bridge the gap between awareness and real action by educating students and staff recognizing the signs of a distress, how to offer support, and where to find resources.

Funded by GSA Quality Money Grant.

Mental health and well-being play an important role in creating inclusive, effective learning environments for both students and instructors. This self-guided module explores holistic approaches to well-being, course and classroom design, trauma-informed teaching, strategies for supporting student success, and practices that promote instructor well-being.

Participants will develop practical knowledge and tools to foster healthier, more supportive post-secondary learning experiences.

Well-being is a multidimensional sphere of care that encourages a higher quality of life. While it often relates to mental wellness, it also includes physical, spiritual, social and environmental wellness, among other facets of care.

Below is a matrix of community and campus resources. To find resources relevant to your needs, simply use the search bar to enter key terms or identifiers such as “Indigenous,” “food bank,” or “sustainability.”
