Sangeetha Varghese

Biography

Throughout her career, Sangeetha has played leadership roles in significant organizational transformations. Using a highly collaborative approach, augmented by her diverse toolkit, she is known to deliver business value in challenging environments consistently. By effectively blending theory with practicality, she envisions and implements "fit-for-purpose" solutions to various organizational challenges.

As one of the early members of Shaw's Data Strategy leadership team, Sangeetha has been deeply involved in the organization's transformation to being data-driven. Her main focus is to establish trust in enterprise data assets and tools to enable the active use of data across the company - her team achieves this by fostering strong business ownership and stewardship of data, while embracing the inclusive principles of Agile Data Governance.

Sangeetha holds a B.Tech in Electronics and Communications Engineering (Cochin University of Science & Technology) as well as an MBA (University of Calgary). She is also a Certified Management Consultant (CMC), a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), a holder of the Institute of Asset Management Certificate and trained in Prosci methodologies and tools for Organizational Change Management.
