Chabon’s most recent novel Moonglow(HarperCollins, November 2016) is a finalist for the 2017 National Book Award, and his novel, The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction in 2001. His novel, Wonder Boys was adapted for the screen and became a critically acclaimed film. The Yiddish Policemen’s Union, was a New York Times bestseller and was nominated for an Edgar Award; it also won the Nebula Award and the Hugo Award for Best Novel in 2008. In addition to his many literary works, Chabon has found critical success in a number of genres including graphic novels, YA fiction, and a picture book. 

Chabon has lectured internationally on topics that include the art and craft of writing, the tradition of Jewish fiction, and Vladimir Nabokov, to name but a very few.

We will have a rush line at Michael Chabon's talk for those who'd like to attend but who don't have Eventbrite tickets. At 7:20 pm we will assess how many empty seats there are in the house and let that number of people in via the rush line. Please be advised that standing in the rush line DOES NOT GUARANTEE that you will be let into the event, so come with modest expectations.
