UPass program is suspended until December 31, 2020.

Students enrolled in Fall term classes will not be charged UPass fees, as these services will not be available.

The UPass Centre in Science B will remain closed.

Is an opt in possible?

No, the UPass program is built on an “all student” participation model. As the University is not able to allow one student group to opt into the program without the other, undergraduates, graduates and co-op/intern students will not have access to the UPass program until January 1, 2021 at the earliest.

UCalgary requests City for provision of low income transit pass.
