Celebrate UCalgary's 60th birthday at our Main Campus with a day full of festivities for everyone—students, faculty, staff, retirees, alumni, donors, partners, and friends. This milestone belongs to our entire community.
Enjoy free food and live music at the Calgary Stampede Community Stage, try a trivia challenge at the Den, or join our GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS® title attempt for the most people dressed as dinosaurs—bring your dino costume and make history!
Whether you stay for the day or just pop by, bring your friends and family. Everyone is welcome to join us and create unforgettable memories.

What is happening on April 11?
10 a.m. | Outside The Den, MacEwan Hall
Alumni check-in tables open outside the Den — UCalgary Alumni — stop by to win prizes, learn about your alumni benefits and see how the community has helped build UCalgary up to become a leading global research university.
By pre-registering, Alumni are also eligible for an appetizer voucher at the Den while supplies last.
Join the UCalgary community as we attempt a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS® title for most people dressed head-to-toe as dinosaurs! If you have one of those inflatable dino costumes or onesies, now's the time to flaunt it. Watch how we can make the record happen.

Be sure to visit one of our three main locations, starting with the library. Archives and Special Collections will showcase fascinating pieces of UCalgary history, including past Convocation Robes and more!
