Finance and Services
The Office of the Vice-President (Finance and Services) and Chief Financial Officer ensures UCalgary’s resources are managed responsibly and efficiently, overseeing financial operations, supply chain management, risk management and insurance, ancillary services, and the office of the internal auditor.
We also support the campus community in many ways—from maintaining and improving facilities to leading emergency management, campus security, and environment, health, and safety (EHS)—all aimed at creating safe, secure, and thriving spaces where everyone can do their best work.

Ancillary Services
Ancillary Services provides quality services that support the university community and includes self-funded operations such as Residence Services, Accommodations and Events, Bookstore, Food Services, Parking and Transportation, and more.
Campus Security
Campus Security focuses on creating a safe and supportive community. By working with students, faculty and staff, Campus Security aims to prevent crime, respond to emergencies, and promote safety.
Emergency Management
Emergency Management focuses on preparing for and responding to emergencies. This includes business continuity planning, coordinating response strategies, and conducting drills to ensure readiness.
Environment, Health and Safety
Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) offers services to the campus community for workplace safety, hazardous materials, environmental policies and safety training.
Facilities
Facilities Development manages campus construction and renovation projects, architecture, engineering and real estate.
Facilities Management is responsible for cleaning, pest control, snow removal, landscaping, waste, and utility management.
Finance
Finance is responsible for the management of all financial activity including strategically managing all of the university’s funds, capital investment decisions, and internal and external financial risks.
Internal Audit
The Office of the Internal Auditor strives to add value by being trusted advisors and value drivers to the university's academic and administrative leaders.
Risk Management and Insurance
Risk Management and Insurance provides risk management programs and insurance services to support education, research and community engagement initiatives.
Supply Chain Management
Supply Chain Management (SCM) facilitates the purchasing and distribution processes for goods and services at UCalgary.
