It is our sad duty to note the untimely death of James Tanouye, who was in his third year of architectural studies. James came to the Faculty from UBC with a BA in Psychology, and continued to apply this serious interest in human behaviour to both his theoretical and studio work. His long-time involvement in commercial photography left him as the one person in the Faculty who could count on actually getting a "one-hour" turnaround on slides for important presentations. He will be remembered as a thoughtful student and a good friend by his many colleagues in the Faculty. |
