Go out on a reel adventure and get hooked on the thrill of fishing in this introductory week-long camp! Each day we’ll travel to a new lake or pond around the city or in Kananaskis to learn basic fishing techniques. We'll also spend a day at the Bow Habitat Station, unraveling the fishy mysteries of their lifecycle, habitat, and how to be the ultimate ecosystem protector. Join us for a week of fishing, learning, and unforgettable outdoor escapades!

Please Note:
  • This program involves travel in a 15-passenger van, driven by a trained and qualified driver.
  • We cannot guarantee that we will catch fish.
No experience necessary.

Outdoor Spring Break Camp

Meet new friends and have loads of fun this school spring break! We plan to drive to Kananaskis for 2 days of snowshoeing and cross-country skiing or hiking and survival skills (snow dependent). The other 2 to 3 days will be in the city and may include wall climbing, bouldering, age-appropriate crafts, indoor and outdoor games, taking the train to the Calgary Zoo, swimming, and more.

If we are not able to drive vans this Spring Break, we will be on campus those 2 days and will snowshoe and ski if there is enough snow in town or nature walk and learn about wilderness survival skills in an urban setting, as well as all of the other activities listed above.
