Through Her Eyes

The Women's Resource Centre is fast being considered one of the most beautiful and innovative spaces on campus.  With a room for women in crisis, a large boardroom, a space for volunteers, and resource library and a bistro-style kitchen, the physical centre is multi-functional.  In addition, what makes the WRC space so unique is the centre's promotion of women's visual art.  All of the wall space within the centre is dedicated to women's paintings and photography and women artists gain recognition for their work.  This is an excellent opportunity to promote women in the arts.

 Benefits for Artists

  • FREE exhibit space for one month throughout the year
  • "Tea with the Artist" - opportunity to talk about your art work at the centre over one weekday lunch hour
  • Great marketing tool - exhibition announcement with artist biography throughout the university community, the WRC website, and the WRC e-newsletter
  • EXPOSURE to the UofC faculty members, staff, students and the Calgary community
