Balancing athletics and academics is a day-in-the-life of Ross Bekkering, fifth-year senior for the University of Calgary Dinos men’s basketball team.
Bekkering’s had an impressive run with the Dinos. He’s also made two appearances on the national university team and will graduate this year with a BComm.
“The Dinos brand as a whole is really growing,” says Bekkering. “I’m starting to really see that pride among the student body.”
Reflecting on what he’s most proud of as a U of C Dino, Bekkering mentions hosting the Western Canada final four. “The pride, the support, it’s something I’ll remember forever.”
