This is what made me who I am
Rithesh Ram has been a University of Calgary student since 2004. He’s an MD/PhD candidate, Leaders in Medicine/Epidemiology, and president of the medical class of 2012.
Research opportunities, mentors and a sense of community make U of C unique for Rithesh. U of C’s commitment to developing student leaders also sets it apart. “There are a lot of people I’ve met here that I will always remember,” he says.
Extracurricular involvement has shaped Rithesh as a student and person.
“I would not be the same person or have the same drive if I hadn’t done the extracurricular activities,” he says. “The opportunities I’ve had and connections I’ve made here have given me the focus to know this is what I want to do.”
