If you donated via cheque, cash or credit card you will receive your tax receipt by mail from United Way. Tax receipts are issued by Feb. 28, 2017 except for payroll donations (which are instead recorded on your T4).
United Way issues tax receipts in accordance with CRA regulations. Examples of events that are non-receiptable include: participation or entry fee to an event, home made gifts, used items, purchase of a raffle ticket, or a silent auction purchase.
