International Education Week (IEW) is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. This joint initiative of the U.S. Departments of State and Education was first held in 2000 and today, is celebrated in more than 100 countries worldwide including Canada. The aim of IEW is to promote programs that prepare students for living, learning and working in a global environment.
