Teach in the TI Application Information Session

The Taylor Institute is offering information sessions on how to apply to teach in the Taylor Institute's flexible, technology-rich learning spaces. These spaces are dedicated to projects that intentionally explore innovative teaching and learning in University courses. Projects range from "I want to try small-group collaborative learning and observe the impact on student engagement", to "How does using 3-D models impact student learning?" to more elaborate "How does a flexible learning space impact both my teaching and student learning in a experiential learning based course?".

To manage the requests for such projects, the Taylor Institute has established a peer-reviewed application process. Decisions are made by a committee, based on the proposed use of the space, the methods for evaluating the impact on teaching and learning, and the plan for sharing the impact with the University of Calgary community. Learn more about the application process here.

The deadline for Fall 2017 and Winter 2018 courses is May 31, 2017.

Register for this session to learn more about the application process and to receive feedback on your own application from TI staff.
