The Educational Development Unit of the Taylor Institute for Teaching and Learning supports the development of teaching and learning capacity at the University of Calgary. The EDU collaborates with instructors, staff and graduate students on implementing best practices and innovative approaches to teaching and learning. The EDU supports the teaching development of instructors and graduate students, the integration of technology to enhance teaching and learning, and scholarly approaches to teaching, course design and curriculum development.

Dee Fink announced as 2015 conference keynote speaker

We’re excited to announce the theme and keynote speaker for the 2015 University of Calgary Conference on Postsecondary Learning and Teaching. The conference theme is Design for Learning: Fostering Deep Learning, Engagement and Critical Thinking. The conference will explore how thoughtful design – of courses, curricula, teaching approaches and learning spaces – can enhance student learning and engagement.
