About Us

Philip Sidney Smith Collection of Photographs, Arctic Institute of North America Rare Book Collection was made possible through the collaborative efforts of Special Collections and Library and Cultural Resources at the University of Calgary, with generous funding provided by the Lois Hole Campus Alberta Digital Library.

The repository contains digitized photographs that date from 1906 to 1923. A catalogue record has been created for each photograph, which contains keywords that can be used as suggested search terms. In addition, a number of supplementary resources are available for research purposes and general interest.
