The Indoor Environmental Program addresses the University's Processes and Procedures related to air quality including issues such as mould.

Information regarding the preference of the installation of hard surface flooring versus carpet, both to reduce the potential negative impact on the indoor air quality and from a sustainability perspective, can be found in the Flooring Material - Code of Practice

Scent Free Awareness Program

The University of Calgary's Scent Free Awareness Program is a joint health promotion project of the University of Calgary Indoor Environmental Committee, Staff Wellness Centre, Campus Infrastructure and other interested stakeholders.  

Smoking on Campus

The University's Smoking Policy can be found at University of Calgary Policies and Procedures website - Smoking Policy.  The policy outlines where smoking and the use of tobacco products is prohibited, signage requirements, tobacco product sales and smoking cessation education and assistance.
