Ergonomics Program
Ergonomics is the study of the design of tasks and tools to fit the physical, psychological and organizational demands of people and organizations.
No matter what the job is, ergonomics plays an important role in preventing injury and illness. It is simply "fitting the job task to the person performing the job". Many times this involves manipulating an individual's work area so that it fits them better, e.g., they can work in neutral postures and maintain their curves.
