Most Unusual Claim

MOOSE ON THE LOOSE - on July 31, 2008 a moose entered the campus and jumped through a window into the Craigie Hall link with the Rosza Centre.  Campus Security had received a call from a person parking at McMahon Stadium, stating that a moose had walked past her vehicle.  They were looking for the animal when they received another call that it had jumped into the link!  A quick reaction had our emergency response personnel stopping all traffic on both sides to reduce the anxiety of the moose.  When Fish and Wildlife appeared, they safely tranquilized him and transported him back to a park area.
