Paying Fees In Person
Tuition and general fees can be paid in person at Enrolment Services as follows:
Debit Card
If you plan to pay by debit card check with your financial institution to ensure your debit card has the appropriate daily transaction limit for your tuition payment. Most financial institutions are able to temporarily increase the daily limit of your debit card over the phone. Your bank's customer contact number should be listed on the back of your bank card. Cash
For your safety and security, it is not recommended you pay in person with cash.
Cheque, Money Order, or Bank Draft
These can be placed in the Fee Drop Box Depository outside Room 122 MacKimmie Library Block (beside the Cashier wickets)
NOTE: Please ensure you student ID number is clearly written on the cheque. Cheques should be made payable to the University of Calgary. Post dated cheques are not accepted. International cheques and money orders/bank drafts are not accepted.
Up to 3 business days will be required to process any dropped-off payments, however, payments received on fee payment deadlines will not accrue late interest (except Payment Plan payments). Payments submitted after the deadline will be subject to a late interest.
Payment Plan payments: Students on an approved payment plan need to take processing time into account and make sure their payment plan payment is posted to their account by the due date listed under "Account Inquiry" in the online Student Centre. Payments posted to the account after these due dates will be subject to late interest.
