Orientation for undergraduate students is comprised of the following events and programs:
In July, we introduce you to university life, give you the opportunity to sign up for important programs, and get you ready for academic life at the University of Calgary.
Summer Orientation is a half-day session and will take place every Friday and Saturday throughout the month of July, starting July 2. Learn more »
Throughout the summer, you will participate in the University of Calgary Common Reading Program. In July, all new undergraduate students will be mailed the same book and asked to join the online discussion, as well as enter a reflective response contest to win free textbooks for a semester. During Fall Orientation Week, you will participate in a group discussion about the book.
