About the ONEcard

What is ONEcard?

ONEcard is more than your campus ID - it's a multi-purpose campus card for students, staff and faculty.

ONEcard serves as your official campus identification card.	ONEcard can be used as your quick, easy, no-fee debit card throughout campus.	ONEcard is used to access the library, gym, labs, and other secure areas.	The UPass sticker on ONEcard gives full-time students access to Calgary Transit services.

Using your ONEcard

No person, other than the one pictured on the front of the ONEcard, is permitted to use ONEcard for identification, access, debit or any other purpose. In the case your ONEcard does not feature a photo, the card will have limitations based upon the service requirements in place by each campus partner. Your ONEcard will remain the property of The University of Calgary and, as such, must be returned immediately on request. Lost, stolen, or damaged cards

Lost or stolen ONEcards must be reported immediately to the ONEcard Office via email at onecard@ucalgary.ca. You are responsible for all transactions until your ONEcard is reported missing. Your ONEcard will be cancelled so that unauthorized persons cannot use the functions permitted by ONEcard.

When a new ONEcard is made for you, all remaining funds in your ONEcard debit accounts will be transferred to the new card.

ONEcard holders are advised to keep track of and protect their ONEcards at all times. It is strongly recommended that no holes be punched in your ONEcard, as this compromises the integrity of the card and the function of the technology inside.

Lost, stolen, defaced, or damaged ONEcards are subject to a $20 replacement fee.

Please note: the replacement fee for the UPass sticker is separate from that of ONEcard. Replacement UPass stickers are subject to a full replacement fee.
